The Engine

It’s the same engine equipped on the Bobber and Thruxton. This powerful engine generates 81 nm of torque and 89 bhp. 

The Wheels And Brakes

The Scrambler 1200 combines 17-inch rear wheels with 21-inch front wheels. Additionally, the rear has a 200 mm fully adjustable Ohlins shocks while the front sports a 45mm Showa item.

A complete Brembo set up is chosen for the brakes.

It is also fitted with switchable ABS and  twin-discs 

Other Features

Additional features of the Scrambler 1200 include keyless ignition and a TFT digital dash that’s fully loaded with options. The screen even offers 2 different themes, the more modern Chronos or the classic Quartz layout. 

There are also 5 riding modes but you can also create your own set-up because it allows you to adjust the traction control, ABS control, and throttle response. Technology to enhance the riding experience is also fitted in the motorcycle.

Such technologies include torque-assist clutch, cruise control, Advance Cornering ABS, heated handgrips, traction control, and many others. 

The Off-Road-Ready Scrambler

If you are looking for the off-road-ready model, then you should definitely get the Scrambler 1200 XE. It is a taller than the XE with it’s adjustable Showa front end.

The rear is also taller due to the 250mm Ohlins shocks. The seat can get up to 34 inches thanks to the extra suspension height that also increases the ground clearance. Additional accessories are also fitted in this model, like brush guards and off-road riding mode.
